Tropico 3 is exciting exactly because of the absence of similar titles on Microsoft's console. While Civilization: Revolutions is an excellent distillation of its more in depth PC cousins, for the most part, players are limited to XBLA fare for anything more. This gives Tropico 3 a niche to fill. Come February, gamers will be able to get their hands on the full game, but in the meantime developer Kalypso has seen fit to give Xbox Live users a taste of South American dictatorship.
