I wonder if this could be plugged into a network switch/router to allow multiple devices to become wireless?

I cant image that they would do anything that would not follow standard protocols. If that is true, you could plug into a switch/hub/router and anything you want from there.

It would be nice to have the boost in speed (Especially since my router supports N), but I'm not so sure I'm willing to spend $80 on it. But it could be a worse price, I suppose.

What? Do you know what your internet speed is? I bet a "B" router is faster than your internet. "N" isn't going to be faster. It just has better security and longer distances.

Because it is wireless, it will be slower then Cat5. You want speed, connect it!

Trendnet (TEW-647GA) makes a cheaper alternative $50 from Amazon. Reviews have been good. Have one ordered so we will see.
