Star of the upcoming Prince of Persia film, Jake Gyllenhaal, has spoken about his hopes for the film, and how he feels it's more than just another video game adaptation.
I have my doubts about the film. I'm still not that bothered about seeing it.
I can see your point.
Right, this Nordic dude is Persian. lol.
I don't have a problem with the way this guy looks. Darker skin would be nice but Persians were apparently pretty light skinned.
Fans of the game should like it, depending on how true it is to the series.
hmm.. it might be OK but most of the time game films suck
It's action, I'll see it at some point, but I think I can wait for a TV release :)
Sorry, but I'm expecting this to be absolutely atrocious. If it's good, that'll be a nice surprise, but I've been burned on this sort of thing too many times. If I remember rightly, test audiences quite liked it. That's a bad sign.
Yeah, he's hardly going to slag it off is he?
Hope it'll be good. I like mindless fun :)
suppose he would have to say that but I reckon I could probably pay to see worse things at the cinema, with my kids, on a wet Sunday afternoon. Besides, with the right hairstyle and bit less body mass, anyone else see a potential Nathan Drake? Now that's a movie I do have high hopes for!
It's not intriguing, it's not more than just another videogame adaptation and you're dancing around in your underpants for money.
Saw the trailer the other day. Everything about it looks awesome! The special effects prove that this isn't "just another video game to movie adaptation".
