Infinity Ward talks Twitter

The driving force behind Infinity Ward's public relations programme is one person's Twitter account.

The studio's community manager, Robert Bowling, has over 66,000 followers on the social networking site, each of them privy to the latest details surrounding Modern Warfare 2.

During the final part of Develop's extensive interview with Bowling, we discuss the advantages of Twitter and the need for developers to go hands on in promoting their own products.

Twitter must have some kind of promotion partnership with IW and this dude, because this twitter thing is getting out of control. I really believe less people care about IW and twitter than the media makes us believe.

Lol i'm amazed they pretend they listen to their fans or others feedback . We constantly , and on a daily basis , get proofs they mostly listen to themselves and the cashflow .

Not the contributor's fault by all mean , but it's yet another "see iw is good" PR crap again .

The marketing behind IW have become almost propaganda like, much like the 360 marketing.... Hmmm I wonder why.
