Liam plays the latest instalment of the Forza franchise. And despite a few disappointed here and there, our very own tame racing driver is impressed!
Is this a known biased site? cause if not i'm just going to stop looking at reviews altogether, almost perfect for this game? please don't treat the readers like retards. It's a good racer, but it does have it's fair share of flaws. And yes i have played this.
Oh OK I don't agree, but Ok. whatever. :))
XD the article is so hot. People were expecting a bad score. TOO BAD!
lol @ the score
Lol @ you

lol @ you, because turn 10 talked bullsh!t, so lol @ turn 10..
the game speaks for itself you look like a sony fanboy and not a real gamer
No i totally respect the forza series and i would give the game 90/100. My brother is a 360 fan and he's playing forza 3 every hour ^^. I just think, 99/100 is too high. If forza 3 would have GT5 grafics, more cars, track editor, day/night cycle, Weather effects and stuff like that, then you can give Forza 3 99/100 imo.. And it seems that GT5 could hit the nail, IF they implement such things and a great damage system..
yeah it was a good game, but these scores are too high. what are they going to give GT5 when it drops? Because there's absolutely no doubt that it is going to dwarf Forza 3 in every single aspect of the game. So I better see some 110/100 scores or I'm done with video game journalism. it's too much BS now days.
The best racing game to date.
99 / 100
I'll be honest here, the game isnt a 99/100 or 10/10 etc etc proably worth a 8.5 imo, i've been playing it for many hours and its a good game, quite realistic but it pushes no boundaries, plain n simple turn 10 told a pack of lies in terms of graphics especially, sound effects are dire as is the soundtrack, i turn them off and play custom music there's a limited choice of cars and why am i always at the same locations but just rehashed circuits? turn 10 said there years ahead of anything else on the market then how have i played a better looking racing game, surely thats impossible right?
Iv'e recently been saying quite a bit regarding GT5 to 360 friends Having played GT1-2 to absolute death , i consider myself as a fan of the series.GT4 was better than 3 i thought and it was super polished on PS2 Iv'e been saying for a while to both mself and friends that the one thing Forza3 definitely wont beat GT on is graphics The most shocking thing i have to say when you finally get to play GT5p is that it's not all that stunning.Ok the scenery is a little basic in a few places and that is to be expected considering how much polish cars recieve, but what's more shocking is how not at any time is there a vibrancy to these enviroments, or a real feeling of connection to them - it's as if you're not in them at all Lighting is superb but PS3 does something very strange to the output of visuals and the sensation of connection just isn't there Forza3 doesn't for the most look particularly real(it definitely does have it's moments though)but wether it's because of a sharper image just a general improvement to detailed enviroments, Forza3 puts you into the experience in a way you just don't feel from GT5p I'm a 360 fan all the way but i don't like how friends just diss on the PS3(it is after all better in a few respects), and so iv'e been very quick to point out how unlikely it was T10 could match the visual splendour of a GT game. The truth is it looks super clean but in no way feels as vibrant and believable a game world as Forza3 - much like how Project Gotham also felt so lonely and cold in atmosphere And yes GT5p being just a demo but if you guys are seriously expecting much better visuals, you've lined yourself up for disapointment And that's not to even mention how the thing handles.Forza2 felt like hard work to drive but there was at least a good sense of weight from the physics.Forza3 really does excell though and it's here GT5 is going to struggle most GT5p feels very flat in this regard and there is no sense of thrilling immersion from being connected to a road or being in an actual race.GT5p is very very dull and quite the opposite to Forza3 Fence sitters should try Forza3 and those that have been away from this type of game since the PS1,PS2 days, should really not bother going near GT5 when it finally hits - it's really no fun at all and things have not moved on at all here I wasn't expecting too much from Turn10 this time, not after my experience with F2, but it's an entirely different game they have made this time and the emphasis is much more about having fun
i ask one thing . Do you play gt5p with wheel ? With pad it is actually dull , but when you try it with g25 .. ehh... <happy>
The game is great. No game is perfect. It's a 9+ easy. The skinny is if you are a fanboy of Sony... You will HATE this game with a passion. This will also apply when GT5 is released. Xbox fanboys will HATE GT5 regardless how good it is. Translation? ALL FANBOYS ARE FOOLS. Be a gamer not a hater. None of us OWN these companies to care.
I believe an 8.9 is more appropriate.. What I find most enjoyable about this game are the long winding and very picturesque road/race tracks. Turn 10 should put out more of them next time, beside the real world Nurburgring Nordschleife and LeMans there are about 2 to 3 made-up tracks worth mentioning: Fujimi Kaido, Rally di Positano and the Sidewinder Proving Ground. I actually liked using the classic cars than the more modern ones, I just thought you have to use the better of your driving skills in one of these beauties.
lol @ GT fans
