Gaming Age: Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo Review

Gaming Age writes: "Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is the first in a series of three games that Namco is putting out this year involving the Dragon Ball license. While a glut of their titles have turned out to be fighters as of late, some of which are actually pretty good, this game features a deviation from the norm, and plays more like a 3D brawler than anything else. I'd say it's heavily reminiscent of recent titles like Spyborgs on the Wii and the Turtles in Time remake on PSN/XBLA. I used to watch the cartoon series back in college, usually on a Sunday afternoon, hungover on the couch. It provided mindless entertainment with a slight sense of humor that was perfect as I tried to overcome numerous shots and games of beer pong from the night before. Dragonball: Revenge of King Piccolo has its its ups and downs. Does it have enough ups to provide you with at least a couple hours of mindless fun? Hit the jump to find out."
