Executives have a hard job and often say the wrong thing. Myarcadeplanet.com compiles a large list of Gaming Executive quotes with commentary.

Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
“I can't comment on failure rates, because it’s just not something - it’s a moving target. What this consumer should worry about is the way that we've treated him. Y’know, things break...it's a complex business."
"Nobody is concerned anymore about backwards compatibility. We under promised and over delivered on that. It’s a very complicated thing... very complex work."
Moore's like the Donald Rumsfeld of gaming execs. And no, I haven't forgotten Kutaragi's "Jack into the Matrix!" comment. He's wild, but at least he doesn't cry about how 'complex' his job is.
thats a truely desperate/scared sony fanboy comment...your now being ignored
interesting quotes. its battle of the bumbling idiots. between Moore and Kuturagi. Now if they got Bush involved. That would be hilarious
what happened to the 360 quotes ??
Well, SONY is a prime example of why companies have PR departments. The problem is, too many of their Chiefs get to spent a lot of time in front of the camera and the mic. These guys obviously aren't listening to what their PR folks are telling them, because they have said quite a few things this year that has made them sound completely out of touch with their customer.
Peter Moore just doesn't do well when he's under fire, bottom line. he needs to learn how to say "No comment"
