Why there was nothing 'natural' about my EyePet's death

Patrick Steen at Gamezine writes:

"Healthy one-year-old virtual animals like EyePet don't just fall asleep and never wake up.

EyePet, a virtual pet for your living room, or in my case, my bedroom. Yes, I game in my bedroom. Bite me. Already out for the PlayStation 3 in Europe (the game has been pushed back to 2010 in the US) EyePet brings a monkey-stroke-dog-stroke...the little bastard is liking this too much...into your life.

When I was initially given my EyePet, by a strange over-enthusiastic American scientist (implying that he'd moulded the poor little thing in his lab, like Ripley's resurrection in the fourth Alien film) my love and hate relationship started with the sodding blighter."

that's a quality article for once. well written and very funny

MK24ever5292d ago

I couldn't agree more, it's a pleasure to read from time to time something in the gaming media that is actually well written and funny to read.
I actually commented on the site congratulating the writer!

This is how gaming journalism should be, the guy described the game very well while making it funny.

I'm so f*cking tired of articles like: "Top ten's", "OMG, my dlck's bigger than yours" and "X Vs Y" written by hypocrit and ignorant journalists, many time coming from big sites like IGN, Gamespot and others.

Kudos to the guy that posted this on N4G and to the article author.

"OMG, my dlck's bigger than yours" - lol never read an article saying that on N4g.

^ I don't think he was on N4G, must have gotten confused. ;-)

Very nice. Fictional, but nice.
