Extreme Gamer writes: "Simply hearing that Polyphony Digital has finally released of Gran Turismo (GT) on the PSP will put a smile on a lot of racing fans faces. Thinking back to the late 90s, anyone who fired up the first two illiterations of the game had no choice but to be impressed. Even with Gran Turismo's long time absence it has come back as a mirror image of its former self... although this time, something is a little off. It could be that we have grown accustomed to a number of other racing series over the years, or it could just be the game, but Gran Turismo doesn't light them up like it used too, even with its engine fully intact."
At long last, Gran Turismo is coming to the PlayStation 4 and now you'll have more reasons to play than just the usual graphics and gameplay updates. The newly unveiled Gran Turismo Sport will have FIA-sanctioned championships running throughout the year, and the winners of each will get real FIA prizes.
A Gran Turismo game in VR. That is sick!
I hope to God they fix the engine sounds. That is the only think that is holding this beauty and wjtb the PS4 power should be able to sound much better.
that music. (: makes you wanna go racing.
Its a great idea that you can support your manufacturer, it provides more incentive to race. Kind of like how you want the car you own to do well in a race. Subaru FTW (:
I dont much care for GT or Forza Motorsport games, other kinds of racing games are alright but these arent for me. That being said, this looks awesome, and to be one of the first PSVR supported games will make it even better, will probably pick this one up at some point a while after release.
lol I'll never win because I'm not good at these games, though I wish I was because I grew up with Grand Turismo.
Hint Gran Turismo 5 is not on this list, you might be surprised what it?, Read on..
Lame list. Where's iRacing, GTR, Race pro, F355 challenge, GT5, Forza 3, pretty much every SimBin game and F1 2010. I guess my list is pretty much "Hardcore Sims", like iRacing, I don't know what the hell that list is. Although GT3 was great.
no GT5 on this list, makes this a palpable one.
haters hate on GT5 because it took 5 years to make. its obvious through all the reviews.
From Atlanta Video Game News Examiner:
"Halloween is past and Thanksgiving is fast approaching. That means it is time to start planning for your holiday shopping. One of the biggest problems when shopping for gamers is making sure that you buy a quality game that they will enjoy. There's nothing worse than getting a game for someone and finding out that it is buggy, has bad controls, or just isn't fun at all. So, we've come up with the best bets of recent releases for the two major hand-held platforms (Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP) for the 2009 holiday shopping season. We've broken it down not just by hand-helds but by genres as well. So click through on the links below for the hand-held and genre you'll be shopping for this year."
Its funny how everyone complains about the missing career mode and no one seems to check that the tracks have obvious graphic issues.
