OXM UK writes: "Heroines who go to war in rah-rah skirts, micro-net stockings and a cheeky grin, heroes who pout and have no memory, feisty cat-creatures who just want their bells back, and more floppy fringes than Happy Hour in Shoreditch. It's fair to say MagnaCarta 2 doesn't take itself too seriously.
This is a good thing. A serious JRPG could have been compared to the forthcoming Final Fantasy XIII. Instead, MagnaCarta 2 needs to be taken wholly on its own merits."

Lots of mediocre titles in that list save Amalur and Overlord . There are better underrated titles out there , some more ignored than that list
