AP's weekly Video Game Video talks to Jack Black about playing roadie Eddie Riggs in the new heavy metal adventure "Brutal Legend" -- and about the frustrating end of "Gears of War 2." (Oct. 9)
Jack black is a moron, all his movies suck. This game to me is just like god of war with some demons and rock metal
stop pimping jack dudes in the game we know but love him or hate em dont matter its the game we want ta see. 64 square miles of warped heavy metal fantasy ours ta play in. The onlines RTS meets tp action! omg I got wood for it. Serious the lump in my pants just wont go down after i heard it was originally planed has an online only game.Look im trying to find stuff i can sell just so i get this and Uncharted2 cause i just don't want to choose between em. Tim your a god sell the game not just the cast. Jack man your cool but here's my two bits just b you. Save Eddie for the game n dont talk gears if u never played online. Cause seriously if your gonna trash gears onlines the way ta do it well that and the story but the co-op was rock solid. (pun intended) ps Tim why no reviews yet???
i really dont see how brutal legend is like god of war...besides the fact that you kill things.
This game is nothing like god of war at all.
I agree with OP, this game is going to suck balls. All it focuses around is heavy metal and brutal killings, oh what fun? Barbarians! Jack Black is an idiot.
He's trying too hard :/
Yep. Still love him though.
lol wow dissing Gears, I still don't like this guy
He's sometimes funny and sometimes flatout annoying. But this game isn't about him, it's about heavy metal. So yeah, it does look awesome. I wonder what songs they'll be using in-game....

^^^ Beat me to it. It's pretty impressive to me, they're putting in bands like Carcass and Emperor. So cool. Was disappointed that Dio left the game though. I would have loved to see what character Dio was gonna play, and hear some Holy Diver goodness. Also, kind of surprised there's no Opeth, and I would have liked to hear see Blind Guardian on there too, especially since their appearance as both characters and music in Sacred 2.
The one band i was truly suprised wasnt in the game is Death.
The last boss on gears 2 is killed from a helicopter using hammer of dawns, what the hell is he talking about?
Jack Black ;) you gotta love him :D I´m not totally into the old metal thing (besides metallica and some other bands) but it suits the game more as well. the game demo is fantastic and i recommend that everyone should try it out.(the menu alone is pure genius :D) ROCKtober!!! :D (what a great month to be a gamer) Bubbles for ALL!
