While he's currently working in a creative director role to bring I Heart Geeks (a Fantastic Contraption-inspired puzzler for the Nintendo DS) to North America, Marc Ecko hasn't forgotten his gaming past.
In a recent interview, Ecko told Destructoid he's keen on a Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure revival.

Stop Gaming Voice Actor Nolan North?
Uncharted, Prince of Persia, Halo, Alpha Protocol, Assassin's Creed, Madworld, Dragonage, Call of Duty, Gears of War, God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Lost Odyssey, Lost Planet, Army of Two, Dark Void, Final Fantasy, Shadow Complex...the list continues. Nolan North is in demand, and these game series have utilised his voice work, whether through a main character or additional voices.
When does enough become enough, is it down to his own desire to be kingpin of the voice acting in games realm, or is it the onus of developers who lazily hire him to get a milieu of his Nathan Drake personable action cliche?"
Yeah, I've been hearing a lot of him recently! There are a lot of talented voice actors that I'd rather see get some work :)
he's hurting for money or he's no longer hurting for money. But all those games were mainly big sellers. So money shouldn't be an issue for him now.
There are a lot of good voice actors North is very good but he needs to vary his voice and not use the Drake one over and over. He did Sigmund in the lastest Ratchet and Clank game.
He was also in the Saboteur but I didn't recognise the voice and was surprised he was in it.
Mark Ecko wants to get it up again, what? lol
I loved the first one hopefully this will happen.
Viagra?
Hah I bought the CE of this game. Was an ok game but I was pretty hyped when I used to see the previews.
Oh man a bumpy road to marketing indeed. But hey, I'm sure there are more than plenty of people willing to see something new in the current gen console market. I think someone just has to make the first step and see if people respond. I'm positive that thereare more people who appreciate Graffiti and hip hop as a whole. GO ECHO ! I have faith.
