"2K Sports has been providing us with great basketball games for the last ten years so NBA 2K10 marks the tenth anniversary of NBA 2K titles spanning from 1999 to 2009 and looks to improve on everything. Look to play a good basketball simulation style game that will punish you if you try to play it like NBA Jam but reward you if you play smart and listen to your coaches. 2K10 does a lot of things to move it into the buy category and not just another roster tweak of last year's iteration."
Play selfishly and you won't get matched with folk who take it seriously. Another feature is dynamic online stat changes - if you're having a great time scoring loads of points with a player who was overrated but he turns out to have a stinker of a season in the real world, he'll be downgraded in-game.
This is the basketball game. It doesn't look as nice as EA's offering, but it has it where it counts.
Gameplanet writes: "Its been a few years since I last played a basketball game, but curiosity prevailed, and it's just as well. This is the tenth anniversary edition, and developers Visual Concepts wanted to make an impression. It is clear from outset that they haven't held back, and have given their absolute all to put out one hell of a basketball game, even if it does present some challenges for a newbie like myself."
