My Friends is a cute and fun set of mini-games with a few nice social aspects thrown in to make it a bit different than most games in this genre. While there isn't a lot of depth to it, it does have a bit of addictiveness to it, and while Diehard GameFAN finds the art and design of the characters a bit creepy, it might just be my aesthetic kicking in. There isn't a lot to offer the hardcore here at all and is definitely for casual players and even more for the younger crowd. Some fun can be had by us older ornery gamers, but Diehard GameFAN is betting most of us will find better ways to waste away our time.
If you're looking for a way to keep your 7-year-old from running around on the train or bus, this game might be worth a look. Still, AVault thinks playground games are best left to the playground, and even young children will appreciate something with a little more imagination than My Friends. As for the online interactions: it's little better than a smartphone.
As usual the Gamervision gang tries to cram each and everyone of the new releases into a ridiculous script.
Less than a month to go until we finally get some new friends, as Oxygen Games will launch My Friends on Nintendo DS this 31st July. To celebrate, DS-x2.com has got some pictures of your upcoming friends.
