First screenshots released for Blue Toad Murder Files

The Lost Gamer writes "Relentless Software, publishers of the much loved Buzz series, have today released ten new screenshots for their upcoming episodic game, Blue Toad Murder Files website. The title will revolve around the strange goings on in the quintessential English village of Little Riddle, which will be the setting for the companies first self-published game.

The series will actually span across a number of episodes, will also provide co-operative play for up to four players and will be released exclusively for Playstation 3 via the Playstation Network when it is released later this year on Thursday 17th December."

Pocket Gamer: Blue Toad Murder Files doesn't feel like a port of a PS3 game. It feels like a title that's found its rightful home after a couple of years of wandering. The simple gameplay translates perfectly to the touchscreen of your iOS device, and the gentle pace is perfect for an evening spent reclining on the sofa.

It's by no means a perfect game, and there are some issues with load times in particular with this version, but if you're looking for a series of interconnected mini-games held together by comedy stereotypes then you're in for something of a treat.
