Concept art from cancelled Aliens RPG
PS University writes "Aliens has grown to become a pretty popular franchise considering none of its next generation titles have hit retail shelves and there has been a handful of titles apparently in development. From Aliens: Colonial Marines to an Aliens RPG from Gearbox, Aliens seems to be trying to make a name for itself within every genre. As of yesterday, it’s rumored that Aliens: Crucible, a roleplaying game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, has been cancelled.
Crucible, which was in development by Obsidian Entertainment, has had plenty of concept art leaked to the public. While Obisidian is mostly known for its work on Neverwinter Nights 2 and Knight of the Old Republic 2, it goes without saying that this title may have followed the same path as the former. "
