you never hear problems about PSN for 1 reason. SONY dont care. you dont get warning about next firmware upgrades or system updates. the only way you find out is by the internet. Where as MS and Xbox send a message to every Xbox LIVE user giving a time and date as to which the update will occur.

That right there is our $50 USD at work, and i will happy flash out my cash for a service that can provide important information such as this.

But this doesnt hae anything to do with Xbox LIVE so this article has been deliberately placed in the wrong section. These useless mods need to actually start being mods and do what forum mods do and move them to the appropriate place.

Nah, because it's fixed within the next day or it doesn't happen. When Live is down well thats what you get when you pay for p2p. Besides the pc has dedicated servers for free, why pay for live again?

GFW Live is basically a ton of the features of Xbox Live for the PC, for free. Things like a friends list, cross-game voice chat, party invites, achievements, servers hosted by Microsoft, etc.

Only problem is that not many games support GFW Live.

Wtf does that even mean ? Are you trying to say that dedicated servers dont go down ? If you believe that you are really beyond f*cking stupid. PSN is always having troubles its been almost 4 years and sony hasnt done anything to fix it randomly crashing. Oh and btw 99% of psn games use p2p too. One last thing dedicated servers on the pc are not free companies have to pay for them. These companies could do the same for games on XBL and PSN but they dont cause they dont want to pay out of pocket when they can use something that is free.

They don't go down as often. Unless they let you know about scheduled maintenance. Remember MS did have christmas and the holiday's down which pissed a lot of gamers off. What good is a paid service if it can't even match PSN or PC like quality? PSN doesn't have even that slightest hiccup as live does. Every time it goes down there's a problem on live. Every time psn goes down it's back up within the hour or less.

Since you know nothing about dedicated servers especially on pc you should know that people can have their own servers and host their games. Sad for you but it's the truth. Just because you're trying to justify paying for something that should be free you don't show any merits at all. I can take that 50 a year and buy an extra game. Or I can buy something better.
