Konami's upcoming Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles is something you can't miss - a 3D remake of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, and the original Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night. Release at the end of this year.
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "We are now in the second half of our series of articles that pit an original game against its remake and for this entry we’re turning down the lights and putting on some spooky music as we take a look at one of gaming’s most spectacular franchises – specifically Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and it’s PSP remake, The Dracula X Chronicles. Now this is as interesting entry in this series has both of these games earned a dedicated cult following but aren’t often remembered among the franchise’s high-points like the ‘Sorrow’ saga and of course the classic Symphony of the Night so revisiting these ‘pretty good’ games is a pretty interesting prospect."
It's also worth noting that Dracula X Chronicles contains the original game too. I disagree with Game Sack about the 2.5D aesthetic of the remake as I don't mind it at all. I think both versions of this game are great though. I'm glad I scored a bargain bin copy of this game for $10 new several years ago.
From Vampires to Mavericks to Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde. Sony's PSP had a vast library of titles targeted towards retro gamers. Here, I take a look at ten fantastic remakes of classic games. Keep in mind that in order to be applicable for this list, the original games must have been released during the 16-bit era or earlier. Anyway, let's start this look back at some of the best retro remakes ever produced for portable play.
I own and have played almost every game on this list. All outstanding choices!
We have all heard of the ever-popular Pokemon series, but are there any other games that might warrant buying a DS, Vita or a PSP? Check out this list and decide for yourself.
and it's got me as excited as GoW PSP.
I'm very exited for the upcoming PSP games.
Maybe the PSP can take the top stop even if it's nearly close to impossible.
Finally IGN fixed the videos...
Symphony of the night on the go. Very nice
I look forwards to this game, but the video seems like the one playing it hasn't touched a Castlevania game in his life! This series rocks Believe It, an you'd be missing out if you don't play this game!
