Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel Screenshots Revealed

Majesco Entertainment has released the first screenshots for Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. Based on the highly anticipated theatrical release of the same name that opens Christmas Day, the game features The Chipmunks and their girl-group rivals The Chipettes as they rock the house in pulse-pounding concert locations around the world. Singing and dancing their way into audiences' hearts, the bands perform to hit songs from the popular Alvin and The Chipmunks library and from today's hottest artists.

With a movie like Alvin And The Chipmunks however there isn't much to dumb down, the subject material is directed to kids and teenagers. "There's nothing really nasty in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. But when your little tykes start crooning "All the boys are all the same, nothin' will ever change 'em/They all want one thing and, girl, you know you'll never tame 'em," or "Huggin' and a kissin', dancin' and a lovin'/Wearin' next to nothin'/Cause it's hot as an oven," then, like me, you'll probably be wondering if the song list was given enough age-appropriate thought. It would have been nice if gamemakers had cleaned up those bits before tossing the kiddos (your kiddos) into the cedar chips with their chipmunk chums."
