PushSquare: "It's impossible to describe Gran Turismo PSP as a bad game. There's the over-riding impression that in bringing Gran Turismo to the PSP, Polyphony Digital forgot to make an actual game around it. Ironically though, flawed as it is, Gran Turismo PSP still stands heads and shoulders above most other PSP titles. It's disappointing to the degree of what might have been, but still stellar in many regards."
If you were hoping to attend the final preliminary live event in the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series and hadn't yet picked up some tickets, your time has run out.
A special free Gran Turismo demo is set for launch later this year, as Sony gears up to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation console.
The demo, going by the name of "My First Gran Turismo", will appear towards the end of the year in an unspecified "holiday" window and be free for all.
Featuring four International Live Events and six rounds of online qualifiers.
Such a shame really, but on the bright side it mean's that PD is more concentrated on GT5, which even I will be buying(not a fan of racing genre).
It's something like:
Review of Mozart Divertimento KV138
+
some memorable melodies
harmonically perfect
nice instrumentation
-
not the same as a symphony
Final Score: 6/10
(for musically unaware, divertimento is a form intended to be "light" in it's structure and more oriented to sketch melodies. Mozart wrote tons of them as he did symphonies, masses, etc...)
They better release an update fort the game or something. It was damn near criminal to not include a career mode. I mean really... Arcade only?
