I was looking forward to an insightful, or at the very least intelligent discussion of the Professor Layton series. I found neither.
This article is -profoundly- poorly written.
My guess is that it was either written by a high school student suffering under the mistaken delusion that he or she has some talent with writing... or, perhaps more likely, someone for whom English is a second, third or fourth language.
tl;dr don't waste you're time, folks.
I can't wait to finish it up so I can see if I agree with you about the ending or not. The first Layton had a sweet spot of an ending, a real turn of events and surprises. I didn't expect such a great story at all from Layton when I first got into it!
Hm, this one is box, and the next one is flute...this is getting a little heavy on innuendo. :/
More challenging puzzles though more repeats I agree with. Better mini games indeed! The ending I also hear you on. Not the best but still doable in terms of what Professor Layton games are about.
