How much do you use your Wii?

Months after launch, how much use does your Wii actually get?

The ps3 gets plenty of flak about lack of games whereas wii seems to get none. It shows its not just a problem with sony, but a problem all consoles have when they first launch, just like the xbox 360

I'm still playing beating Paper Mario. I still bust out Trama Center, Sonic, SSX, and Tiger Woods every other day or so. Also I still have a every weekend Bowling Tornament. It's hard to balance all these games/systems/and play time, but I have no life so it's cool ^.-

I don't really consider myself a hardcore gamer but I still play Zelda or Wii Sports every other day for about 30 mins. A few hours on the weekends. About 3 times a week, my girl and I will play Rayman or Monkey Ball for about an hour and a half or fiddle w/ the Everybody Votes and News channels. We host an occasional Monkey Ball tournament once every month or so.

Mr Murda, I totally agree w/ the online play sentiment. I'm kinda pissed that we (Americans) don't get to play Mario Strikers until over a month after EU gets it. I'm not really interested in our first online game, which is Pokemon.

I'll probably be playing more once Mario Party comes out as multiplayer games get WAY more playtime on the Wii at my place.

The usb sockets on the back of the wii are great for charging my ps3 controller and bluetooth headset while on standby. The ps3 ports are not powered when the unit is off.

As for how often I actually turn the wii on, not so much. 360 and ps3 get the most use as I mostly play online. Wii normally only gets turned on if I have visitors.

I use my Wii a bit but went through about 3-4 month's not touching it. And go figure, the only game I really like is Super Paper Mario where you hold the wii controller like a nes controller.

I was really, really THINKING about turning it on last night?

My wife was on the central PC doing some school work, so I WAS going to use it to surf N4G...

...but then IT called to me.

And before I knew it, I was playing Calling all cars followed by MKII...again. You see, part of the problem with folding@home, is that the machine is alreadly conveniently on and ready to roar. When I see that green light (as opposed to standby-red, it becomes a little too easy to flip TV video inputs and indulge in some Sony goodness.

Other than that, it's been wiiks upon wiiks since running some AC current into my beloved Wii.

But I WILL play Zelda again one day!!!...

Infact people just about 50% of my posting here on n4g.com is done on my wii.

Edit: I all so use the wii sports and wii play as my work out machine, I get really physical when playing those games, Right now im working on geting the perfect power shot in wii sports on the bowling game, where you gotta knock down perfect 10 pins and each time you knock em down they add on ten pins. I've gotten up to a score of 900.

Not much, almost anything the Wii can do the PS3 can do better. Also i'm in the UK so no Paper Mario (or other games) for months yet. Put that in your Wii and vote on it!

Its with all consoles i have, if i played a game till the end or just not in the mood i dont touch the console.
its not only the Wii, its also with my GCN/Ps2/xbox and ill be sure ill be having the same thing with my xbox360 and PS3.( still have to get them)

About 3 months at a guess, is the last time I turned it on.

Wii is my least favourite console coming behind (in no particular order) PS3, Ps2, PSOne, X360, XB, GC, N64, Snes, Nes, Megadrive, Mastersystem, Atari 2600 and Commodore 64. Then Wii. Thats why I dont really care how much it sells. Its still has a lot to proove to overtake those consoles in my eyes. Having a weird controller isn't enough for me. But each to his own.

My PS3 gets played the most then my 360 2nd and Wii barely gets any play at all but that will change at the end of the month with Mario Party 8 being released.

I don't know what it is about Zelda games but they only hold my interest for so long. I'm not sure if it's because I don't care about the characters or what but I was bored with it quite soon. After that there were no other games that were deep enough for me to want to play so I put it up for sale and am having fun with my 360 now.

360 gets played at least 3 or 4 times as much as any other console in my house. I find the wii better for friends/family that hang out for a while.

I make use of it. I get some games from VC. The weather channel is actually quite useful for me since I'm up before the morning news begins. I do agree though that the system does need some titles of its own to appear on the market. All good things come with time.

about 8-10 hours a week. i play a lot of gc games on it as well. it does a good job upscaling. been playing super paper mario and ssx blur(underrated wii game in my oppinion). and when friends come over, they do want to play the wii, it's a given.
but over all my 360 gets the most playtime.

I play my Wii as much as my PS2.

I have been playing a PS3(20GB) on loan from a friend, but the only game I liked on it was F1.
Though it wasn't hard enough.

I remember once playing Alien Crush on the Wii for like 5 hrs straight! Only to get a high score in that crazy pinball game.
