XGN writes: "The King of Fighters XII, the title says it already This twelfth running it back to you that the king of fighters. But will it succeed or is this a disappointment?"
Jahanzeb writes - "SNK would then move on to the Atomiswave arcade board for a short while before making the jump to Taito’s then revolutionary Type X-2 Hardware, and it was on this platform where SNK were able to truly reinvent their graphics and art style in The King of Fighters XII. Celebrate 12/12/12 by playing a game that has something to do with the number 12. The story suggests a list of 12 games with 12 in them.
Wtf? 12/12/12 was yesterday, so why is this article being posted today?
I don't see the point of the article anyway, it's just a bunch of games with 12 in the title, most of them are crap too. Must have taken some real journalistic skills to come up with this one.
Jason Venter writes: "There are slow and powerful bruisers, tiny and agile schoolgirl types and everything in between. If you decide to spend the time that is required to master even a small portion of the more than 30 fighters, you’ll be busy for many hours. Some characters are less obviously gifted than others, but none of them seem to be useless. Even the diminutive Chin Gentsai, who employs the drunken master fighting style, is deceptively powerful once you learn how to put his hypnotic movements to use."
Not worth the current price tag but this is a definite pick up when it drops to 30.
