SFX-360: Yo Ho Kablammo Review

SFX-360 writes: "Ahoy there mateys! Have you ever dreamed of being a pirate? Have you ever wanted to sail the high seas in search of treasure and fortune? Are you ready to pillage and plunder all in the quest for booty? Well, you won't find any of that here. Yo Ho Kablammo, the second place winner from the 2007 Dream Build Play competition from Canalside Studios, tries it's best to make you feel like a pirate, but in the end it just comes off as...meh!

So what's the purpose of Yo Ho Kablammo? Well the idea is to sink opposing pirate ships into the depths of Davy Jones' Locker along with collecting the booty left behind. That's all she wrote. Of course there's other things like collecting booty from the sunken ships and scoring points by running over mines. Yo Ho Kablammo is a game riddled in simplicity at it's finest, but it feels like a game that's aimed for a younger crowd well outside of the Xbox 360's target audience..."
