As promised, here is the first official gameplay video of Beautiful Katamari captured from the Xbox 360 version of the game. This is the first and only place to see Beautiful Katamari in action.
After Xbox's announcement that there won't be any more backwards compatible games until the release of Project Scarlett, here's a reflection of what could, or perhaps should have been.
Not only would it have been great if Max Payne, Freedom Fighters, Nier, Blur and Lollipop Chainsaw got to become backwards compatible, it also would be great if those games got to have more games come out in their franchises.
Its not as backwards compatibity is dead its just been put on hold so all backwards compatibity game work on next xbox then when its released they will start up again, P.S I did finish Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Burning Earth
Might get the chance when Scarlett comes out. I mean for all games Xbox 360 and Original Xbox. I can dream it happening.
It may look all happy and cutesy at a glance, but when you actually consider Katamari's gameplay, it's actually rather dark. Very dark, in fact.
It maybe disturbing but it's fun as hell and why the Ps4 doesn't have one yet or a Noby Noby Boy 2 is beyond me.
Me too! Since writing this article I've had Katamari cravings so bad. Looks like I'll have to settle with Touch My Katamari on Vita for now. I'd even be happy with Backwards Compatibility for Beautiful Katamari on Xbox!
Katamari forever on ps3 is good too.. psp one as well.. ps2 both games are awesome too

Wow, now I know what game to avoid. This is not for me.
Why is this game not on Wii? I can't think of a single more appropriate game in style, content or control that would fit better with the Wii and yet they are making a blocky, ugly presentation on the 360 and PS3 and refusing a version for Nintendo. Pick one or the other. Either make a hi-res version for the number consoles, or include the Wii.
this type of visuals was fine for the ps2 but for the ps3/360? this better be a psn/xbla download. this shouldn't be 60 bucks. i guess katamari developers weren't ready for the next generation.
But then it might appeal to 4-5 year olds. They need games too.
GOW, GTA and Dead Rising aren't for all age groups.
I did'nt buy a 360 to play Ps2 games. I love Katamari (no pun intended) but I honestly can't pay for a nextgen game that looks this crappy.
