Dreamcast 10th Anniversary Feature: The Rise and Fall of Dreamcast

Released in the fall of 1998 in Japan, and a year later in the US and Europe, the Dreamcast was Sega's fifth, and soon to be final video game system. Though it was a commercial failure, selling only 10.6 million units in it's lifetime, it still managed to produce some of the most loved and highly rated games of any generation.

To celebrate the consoles 10th anniversary, we take a look at the history and future of the console, it's games, and why this shining star eventually died out.
