GameSpot writes: "Considering how well Deca Sports sold, it looks like Deca Sports 2 is about to sell like hotcakes once it is released later this month. It's been awhile since we've seen the game, so we stopped by the Hudson booth at the 2009 Penny Arcade Expo to get some hands-on time with the new additions. The variety of sporting events is what stood out, and even though the gameplay is incredibly simple, there's plenty of fun to be had. Who doesn't like synchronized swimming?"

DIG: Deca Sports 2 Review

DIG writes: "Hudson joined the Wii Sports mini-game fray with a much closer facsimile than most: Deca Sports. To be honest, I took a pass on the game. Like most of these, I'd rather just stick to Nintendo's waggle centric line-up. Most of these mini-game collections either over or underestimate the Wii remote's sensitivity. Deca Sports 2 doesn't do much to change my opinion though it does have one stand out game that's missing from Nintendo's lineup."
