Even though Extreme Gamer felt a little let down, Mothership Zeta still has strong points and is worth the purchase if you have enjoyed the other add-on content for the game. If you haven't made the decision to purchase any of the content, give it a few months and you'll be able to enjoy all Fallout 3 has to offer with its Game of the Year edition.
GamingUnion.net: "Downloadable content has become a rather permanent fixture in this generation as every developer is trying their best to keep gamers interested in their title and make some cash along the way. There are many different ways to do this too, such as map packs, alternate costumes, to full-blown expansions."
I strongly disagree with the author regarding the Metal Gear Solid database.
Not only Metal Gear Solid series cutscenes are far from being a torture like he seems to say, but MGSDB isn't necessary to understand the MGS story.
Yes, there's plenty of text. Yes, it may be complicated for whoever isn't fond of Metal Gear Solid. But it's a good addition if you want to know more about the series background, context and story.
Metal Gear Solid Database is more like an application or an interactive website than an actual DLC.
How is The Saboteur missing from this list? The MIdnight Show pretty much just added topless women...
Acclaimed add-ons for Bethesda classics Oblivion and Fallout 3 have become available at bargain bin prices on Xbox Live.
Dang, got excited there for a second. Then I realized that I've already played through all the FO3 add-ons, I just bought the Oblivion GOTY edition yesterday, and Dawnguard last week.
Bethesda announced today via the Bethblog that all Fallout 3 and New Vegas content packs would be going on sale for PS3 users from May 16 through May 30th. Both Fallout 3 and New Vegas add-ons will be discounted, unfortunately this deal is only for the European PlayStation Network.
I remembered Europe already had a discount on Fallout dlc shortly after ps plus started. I would've purchased all the dlc and get 100% of the trophies. Too bad.
