Some multiplayer only games are 60 bucks. Would it have been nice if MS released this as a download expansion for 20 or 30? Sure. But they know people are going to line up and buy it. I know this sounds crazy, but I'm sure they could have charged 75 for it because it's Halo and the Halo crowd would still buy it. So in a way everybody is lucky it's only 60.
$60 is a lot of money for DLC.
