With the 1.50 patch now live there are plenty of reasons to play some rounds of BF2. Here's a little list if you need some more reasons.

Bad company 2 was still my favorite, sure it was a bit gimped compared to the rest if the series but more fun and far more satisfying weapon unlocks.
Battlefield 1942 + both expansions are my all time favorite, it can still be played online to this day. Vietnam would be my 2nd, 3rd Battlefield 2, last BF2142 the rest I didn't care for. They really need to remake from the ground up in the new engine BF1942. Next year it will be 20 yrs since it was released. If they don't at least to me would be a disservice. ☹

The widescreen support and higher resolutions should have been included years ago...
But I actually did start playing BF2 again today :D
I did not notice it was PC additions, I have this game on 360 but have not played it in about a year, wonder if anything new there, I think i will give is a shot tonight.
Whats also neat is that you dont need your disc to start up the game anymore with this update. Kick ass update.
Does anyone like 2142 more that BF2?

and i love every one of them and nothing come close to battlefield 2 ..
