Also known as "Green Beret," from Konami Digital Entertainment Inc., Rush'n Attack is a faithful next-generation update of this classic coin-op arcade title where the player assumes the role of a special forces agent sent behind enemy lines to infiltrate an enemy military complex and free captured prisoners of war reports Team Xbox.
The GigaBoots crew checks out the sorta-pseudo-retro-remake of Rush 'N Attack for the 360 and PS3. It's a stealth game where you stab lots of dudes.
Nicagamerz: Here you can see the HD remake of Rush N' Attack that Konami are Vatra are preparing, and the video shows 3 minutes of direct HD gameplay footage, you can also see some screenshots too.
Great stuff! I can remember being 11 or 12 years old and pumping quarters into the Rush N Attack machine every day. Used to love the 2 player aspect. And let's not forget the awesome, white Bazooka-like weapon. What a truly fun game back in the day.
This new iteration looks pretty good. I think I would really enjoy playing it. Nostalgic games are always a good thing; (says the guy with Arthur from Ghosts N Goblins as his PSN avatar)
TGH Writes: "Old school players may remember Rush’n Attack as an action platforming title back on the NES, Commodore 64 and other Home computer consoles back in 1985. Other gamers may know the game as Green Beret as the game was titled in Japan and Europe at the time. Many years later it made appearances on Gameboy, DS and even most recently on mobile phones and Xbox Live Arcade with slightly improved graphics. Konami is now looking to dive back into the past where our gaming souls live and give us a taste of what we remember, or what we may have missed with the new, Rush’n Attack: Ex-Patriot."
This game sounds pretty good, it has a lot of potential but I don't know if it will be as good as Shadow Complex.
