good to see that PS1 classics are being added more often.
wasn't the Fear 2 demo already put on PSN?

Megaton5344d ago

I'm wondering about the FEAR 2 demo too. We did have another one awhile back.

Having an EU PSN account really made this week's US update null and void for me. Wet and DiRT 2 demos both came out last week there. Suppose I might get the Crash Commando DLC. Maybe...

DaTruth5344d ago (Edited 5344d ago )

Tomb Raider 2, finally!!!! Don't know why I sold this game! This will be awesome on my PSP! Now all I need is Tenchu and I will be set for PS1 classics!

This was what I was asking for in the PS store delayed comments!

The thing I liked about TR2 was that it wasn't ridiculous puzzles that you need the book for every turn. I did the whole game without the manual! And massive gunfights with armed bad guys, not just one every ten minutes like the others.

TR the last rev. was absolutely terrible, I had to pass by EB every other day to solve the puzzles, then they actually had you try and decipher hieroglyphics; That was ridiculous!

morganfell5344d ago

I have to agree. I am anxious for Tenchu to hit. I picked up that last Wii version and I do not know what it was...but it wasn't Tenchu.

Roper3165344d ago

the Fear 2 demo is for the new single player DLC that releases next week not the actual retail game like the other demo was for.

DaTruth5344d ago (Edited 5344d ago )

I almost bought a 360 just for Tenchu Z, but I heard it wasn't good, and it would be messed up to pay $400 for one game and it's not even good!

Tenchu brought me back to gaming. After the original Sega and NES, I just couldn't afford it anymore after I kicked my rich father to the curb, no amount of money was worth it. I preferred abject poverty over putting up with that guys $hit.

PrimordialSoupBase5344d ago (Edited 5344d ago )

It's Fear 2: Reborn.

Real Gambler5344d ago

Demo overload!!! Yikes, I want to try 3 of them...

MAR-TYR-DOM5344d ago

Myst5344d ago

I suppose now is a good time if any to try the WET demo.

Also thank goodness the store was updated the moment I got back from classes.

Blaster_Master5344d ago

Dont waste your time Nuri. It really isn't worth even trying.

Myst5344d ago (Edited 5344d ago )

It isn't? Is it horrific bad control wise or something else?

[edit]
Well now that you both have stated it, you basically just fueled the fire for me to try it lol.

Megaton5344d ago

If you liked Stranglehold you'll like it.

Myst5344d ago

I've never played stranglehold before which is why I'm quite curious as to why they stated it is not worth it. All and all from the videos it looked like it could be fun, so I probably still will try it.

Nitrowolf25344d ago

yes if you liked strangle hold you might like this. Personally it felt like stranglehold, it wasn't really my game.

Myst5344d ago

Certainly an interesting game I can see that it would at least be a guaranteed rental for me at least.

himdeel5344d ago

The demo that is. The presentation is pretty fresh and interesting in you like Q. Tarentino movies. The gameplay could use some work, the same could be said about the graphics. What's sad is I couldn't really recommend it as a rental :/ but I found it interesting.

Tomb Raider 2 or Sim City 2000? :P

54percent5344d ago

depends, TR2 is a classic, and SC2000 well, I prefer the PC version because the mouse makes your life easier but the PS1 version is ok

JonnyBigBoss5344d ago

This is the first time I've ever downloaded every demo on an update. This week rocks!

Rhezin5344d ago

He did a track guide for Neurnberg 24 in GTsport.

We have had no more content since then, maybe a few time trail modes, I believe there was one from Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstapen as well, due to the red bull partnership.

Back to Lewis, He STILL wears the Gran Turismo logo on his caps, every weekend Formula One races take place.

I was expcting more from this sponsorship, oh well. This video, is kinda rubbing salt into the wound, for me

That Driver tutorial still haunts my dreams. That parking lot saw me fail a thousand times

Starhawk over Warhawk?...... Dude, NO ONE should listen to you.

Odd choices for "best" more like you settled as these being the "best" that available to you at the time, cause a lot of these blow or were average to poor performers that ended up in bargain bin.

Missing too many great sci-fi titles here. The Void, The Resistance Series, Killzone 2 and 3, Enslaved, man.. there were so many, this is redicu-list.

FreeckyCake3d ago

Nobody should listen to you either with that attitude.

OtterX2d ago

I agree that Starhawk shouldn't be above Warhawk, however I must say that Starhawk multiplayer was incredible for its time! Many people wrote it off bc the single player was quite terrible, bc it was basically 1 huge tutorial for the multiplayer. But I can tell you never spent any significant amount of time in MP. It was doing incredibly tense base building w air, foot and land vehicle (and mech!) combat long before Fortnite was ever a thing.

I bet it would have been much better received if it had just ditched the story mode all together. So many people like yourself completely wrote it off based on reviews by reviewers that let the criticism of single player weigh heavily on their scores. I bet you didn't even play it.

Friendlygamer3d ago

The riddick games are some of the best stealth titles ever, highly underrated

YourMommySpoils3d ago

What games? All recall plating was Escape from Butcher Bay.

Friendlygamer3d ago (Edited 3d ago )

There's also the less acclaimed 'assault on dark Athena'

( also, not saying this to you specifically but there's both resistance and killzone games on the list, it's amazing how even something so simple and innocent as a game list can be turned into misinformed vitriol here lol )

jznrpg3d ago

Glad to see Resonance of Fate. Enslaved was pretty good too. I’m sure there are others nobody has listed but I’m too tired to try and think of anything
