Fallout, Kingpin, Sacrifice on Steam

Eurogamer:

Interplay classics Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Kingpin and Sacrifice have been added to Steam.

You can buy them for £6.29 each or you can squash the Fallout trio into a handy bundle for £15.99.

The Fallout games need no introduction, of course, but one also shouldn't overlook Kingpin - a brutal first-person shooter where you recruit and lead a gang and bash people's heads in with pipes.

Kingpin used to be the coolest game to play as a 14 pre-pubescent angry middle schooler because you could blast hookers away with shotguns, do drugs, not to mention the VERY generous use of the f-bomb (a first in the industry, I believe... a Pioneer of sorts..hah) Not to mention anybody who played games at that time would remember that was when 3d accelerators were just starting to become a necessary thing for pc gaming. Up until kingpin, I just used the legendary "software mode".

One of my worst memories in gaming was bringing that game home from the store, installing it and then learning i couldn't play it because my parents computer lacked a powerful enough GPU, (which at the time; I did not even know what that was).

One of my best memories in gaming was making mom go back to the store to purchase a 3dfx Voodoo 4-4500 card (indeed) so her little boy could get to good the wholesome family fun of clubbing the homeless, and setting people on fire with the most GORGEOUS (at the time) flame-throwers my eyes had ever seen ...

Get Kingpin if you missed it the first time. Trust, fool.
