Analyzing the effect of the PS3 price reduction

Sony's PS3 price cut should insure the company can ship at least 8m PS3s worldwide in the six months ending March 2010. The question is whether that's enough to meet Sony's 13m FY 3/2010 projection

I think this is Bull*****.

I actually thought Sweden would get pricereduction to 2999 kr (299€), but this f****ed up country with it's high ass taxes are not even reducing the price by 50$.... they reduced the price aaaaaaaall the way down to 3800kr (380€), a pricereduction of 20$.

Insure = ensure.

Funny, because saying "insure" in that context would mean the price cut would secure AGAINST the sale of 8m consoles by March 2010.

Actually they are not interchangeable.

Insure is defined as provide protection against, to give means of repair in case of damage, etc. etc.

Ensure is to secure or guarantee that something will occur or not occur.

If you can't understand the difference, then...oh well.

Ensure and insure are definitely related and variants of each other, but interchangeable? Nah.
