GC: Modern Warfare 2 - no MP beta

Activision has told CVG at Gamescom that there'll be be no multiplayer beta for Modern Warfare 2. You may remember that the first MW game had a huge open beta test that you could say was a massive success in bringing people round to Call Of Duty's multiplayer options. But it looks like there's no need to do that this time round.

There is NEVER a good reason not to have a beta. That's like when Cliffy B said for Gears of War 2 we don't need a beta and that their host peer to peer totally pwns dedicated servers. Yeah I'm serious he said that in a 1up interview with Dan Tshu or w/e that guys name is.

So let me get this right so far about MW2:
1) No beta
2) Price Hike in UK regions
3) Not even in 720P...lol way to push yourselves Infinity Ward with 600P
4) No dedicated servers
5) Was the reason tons of games I wanted to play this year got pushed to 2010.

That's 5 reasons why this game can go suck my left nut. Anyone else want to add to this list of fail ?

That looks to be a FAMAS. The French standard issue assault rifle. It is already a confirmed weapon too.

If i were to guess i'd say it's because they didn't really changed anything from COD4. It's basically the same game, with a few minor graphical improvements, of course, so why would they need a beta if they know exactly how it handles by now?

Glitches and bugs??? Kotick can't be bothered with anything that doesn't generate profits. He knows people will STILL buy it regardless if the MP is broken or not

expect plenty of map glitches etc at launch then :( cus it's not all about how the servers handle loads, it's also about weapon balance, glitches in maps etc etc.

who knows, perhaps this is false and there will be one after all, but i was thinking that this time 2 years ago the cod4:mw beta was gearing up to go
