Activision has released the first Wii screenshots of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
theyre ok i guess but i wanna see footage, surprised no one has complained here yet =D
Same here I want some footage and some details, because if this game doesn't include WiiSpeak i'm just going to stick with World at War.
i might to actualy =| the game is out in a few months they shoulda released footage with the screens
Not much to go on. But from what little we have to see, the game looks exactly like everyone thought it would...a less detailed and lower-res version of MW. I'll gladly take some muddier textures in exchange for far better controls. There is NO excuse to have bad FPS controls on Wii anymore. ...and it sure would be nice to get around friend codes for Wii speak...
Thats not too bad.
Just like most other big name franchises that release every year...ill skip it.
Holy crap, it looks worse than WaW.
I thought that it was a rumor of MW coming to Wii, but hey here it is..
looks way better han world at war the screens for that game were crap there looking like the 360 version in lower res
lol at wii...but they are trying :)
man when i hear about things like this it makes me wonder how any one can think that the halo franchise is being milked. you get a new cal of duty every year. on great(anything made by infinity ward) and the other ok (tetryarch). where as halo has had 4 games all of which were awesome especially halo wars. looking forward to ODST. halo ftw!!!!!!
the halo and call of duty franchises are getting milked then :)
Looks like a late gamecube title, luckly they have time to push the graphis more, because if they fail to make the game look as least as good conduit's, or other titles were seeing in production now, then it's a graphics flop, at least the style is good. and at least we can count on good gameplay. just give it time, im sure it will come along. though i may have to pass this one just because i have it for the PC, and i feel i can stick with conduit for wii, moderwarfare2 for PC, and ODST for 360.
in this screen : http://www.nintendoeverythi... the dead guy on the bottom right looks photoshopped into the pic, zoom in and take a look
Well screens don't really do Wii games any justice, BUT, MWii better have a solid 60fps frame rate if its gonna look like that lol.
I'd love to give MW a shot if it has good multiplayer on Wii...but if it doesn't, I'll have the Prime trilogy to keep me occupied.
See, that's why you're not supposed to just port Wii games. The textures just end up lookin bad. If you wanna port something from the 360/PS3 to the Wii, then you need a custom engine, or at least take more time to get the textures lookin good. The Wii can do way better than that. But, graphics aren't everything, so as long as the controls are good (and there's WiiSpeak), I'm buyin it.
Or maybe it's that Treyarch uses the same PS2 engine for every Wii game they make?? Other than that, I agree with you.
Completely blows the 360 and PS3 versions out of the water. I thought I was looking at a real battlefield for a minute.
Why was this game made?
I knew the textures would take a hit, and bump/normal maps wouldn't be an option, but this is kind of bad! That is supposed to be desert camo in that one pic right?
"Gamescom version is a 'pre-beta' version. That means there's plenty of room for graphical improvement." http://nintendonow.e-mpire.... OK, we can all relax now on the graphics. No Wii Speak is a bummer. But fully customizable motion controls, all the online modes (plus two more players, compared to World at War on Wii), the complete single player with an added drop-in mode, and the graphics could end up looking much better than Conduit overall since Infinity Ward is supervising the game engine's performance. A barely compromised COD4, plus the HVS control scheme from Conduit? I gotta say...I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but I am.
they should of just skipped cod4 and made mw2 for along with ps3 and 360 it kinda odd bringing now with the sequel months away
They'll bring MW2 eventually, but they're going to milk it and get the money for the original one first.
