Speaking in a talk that kicked off GDC Europe in Cologne, Zootfly's Bostjan Troha frankly explained the unique circumstances behind the firm's TV show-based Prison Break game, dropped by Brash Entertainment after its implosion and kept alive by Zootfly, until recently being picked up by Koch Media and Deep Silver for publishing.
In the talk, Troha explained "how we magically survived... [after] being inches away from being completely obliterated" by the "industry debacle" of Hollywood and games publisher Brash Entertainment's implosion, as the one game-team Slovenian studio of around 40 developers kept things going against significant odds.
