Apple on Tuesday quietly addressed the concerns of some notebook buyers by adding a matte display option for the 15-inch MacBook Pro. Similar to the choice that launched with the 17-inch model (pictured), the feature replaces the glossy glass screen and bezel with a more conventional metal bezel and separate anti-glare panel. The option is available across all three 15-inch systems.
Again like the 17-inch computer, choosing the display adds $50 to the base price of a given system. Whether Apple will carry matte-finish 15-inch MacBook Pro units at retail is unknown, but selecting the option extends the shipping delay to between two and four business days at the online Apple Store.

Frankly, RT reflections do not interest me much, on the other hand, RT lighting makes a huge difference.
Devs want it though because its a less time and labor intensive way of creating reflections.
It will be on the PS5 Pro when the RT is separated from the CU's and doesn't cause performance loss.
