Sweet. They managed to get Lamborghini, Porche and Ferrari all on board the Gran Turismo train.

Veyron is cool, it should make it over to GT5. Can't wait to see that in c0ckpit mode.

I've been waiting for Polyphony to get the major exotics licenses for years. It's too bad they didn't include the Vector cars the way they had in GT2, but this is grand. With any luck, these licensees will ingrain themselves into GT5.

Tells you something about the space they leave for the gameplay components, doesn't it?

PD fitting 800+ cars on an UMD just shows what a postcard racer GT is. It's fun to scroll through the cars but as soon as you are behind the wheel it's true colors show. Most cars feel exactly alike and the driving just comes off as cheap and lightweight. Just listen to the tacky engine sounds and the tire screech noises when you start to lose grip. Sounds like samples from a 16-bit game.

GT is nothing but a flashy kitcar.

Forza 3 is about deep customization, advanced racing physics and true racing gameplay where every car feels unique and you notice all the tuning in the way the car behaves and sounds. Where GT offers different skin experiences Forza offers different car experiences. You know, things that people who are into racing and racing games dig. A feel of quality.

I remember gamesharking the Diablo and Porsche 911 GT3 into the game. The Lambo was exclusive to the Japan version of the game and could be had by winning Cote de Azure (Monaco) endurance race. The Porsche was never really supposed to be in the game but my yellow one could was glitched to where it could do over 360 mph!!!

Anyway good to see Lamborghini and Ferrari in the Gran Turismo world. RUF are actually much faster than the Porsches they're based on. But people want Porsche because they're more familiar with them, understandable.

I would never use Porsche (or Ruf for that matter), but I'd like to see Porsche just to give it that complete factor and make sure everyone's favourite manufacturers are there.
