Gameguru: "The internet was abuzz with the latest game that was being developed by Silicon Knights. The only details known about this particular game is the fact that it's titled, 'Siren in the Maelstrom'. The company, when officially contacted, refused to divulge any details regarding the project except for the fact that the game was being developed for either a console or portable machine at that point in time."
The ten games on this list have all been left to the wayside but this doesn't stop fans from wanting another entry to their beloved series.
Too Human remade with the power of next gen would be great
Alan Wake, Lost Odyssey, Jade Empire, Brute Force, Otogi, Blinx, Ryse, Condemned, Tao Feng
"A 3D Diablo wonderland of cybernetically enhanced Norse gods." That's what Too Human is. While the first game has some speed bumps (spread out over nine years), a sequel could fix what was wrong and make the series as great as it should be.
Know many wont want to hear it, but some clone-age from the GOW people wouldn't hurt. Certainly to be more familiar and stick with one game engine.
Too Human had been planned as an Xbox 360 exclusive trilogy when it launched in August 2008, but the game was panned critically and did not live up to sales expectations, leaving the future of the Silicon Knights franchise in doubt. Silicon Knights boss Denis Dyack, however, believes there is still hope and he told GamesIndustry International that an abundance of details will be revealed on May 14, the date set for his company's trial with Epic Games.
Lol, really now? Too Human was an interesting idea, but the game was sadly just terrible.
Dude still doesn't admit that Too Human failed because of the studios poor design/gameplay problems.
I was interested in it until I played the demo. I recall the controls being an abomination. Key buttons weren't even being used...
i thought the game was alright nothing great. just the damn death and re-spawn was terribly long and irritating.
I enjoyed it somewhat, very deserving of the less than perfect reviews but also very deserving of a properly made sequel.
Won't hold my breath though.
Big deal and who cares is all I'm gonna say
1st game was crap based on reviews and on what I'Ve seen on the Net.
crap games deserve a 2nd chance for a better sequel.
maybe they'll get it better this time .
more fun on PS3/X360
YUCK!
I'd definitely give it a second chance. A lot of sequels to poorly made games are often great. Killzone 2 is great, and its predecessor wasn't so good. And Mass Effect 2 will hopefully have all of the graphical issues ironed out (I find ME1 on 360 nearly unplayable). Maybe Too Human 2 will be awesome. Who knows? Don't judge.
is bound to happen..thats perhaps the worst kept secret in the world. The developer statements of the Bioshock team seem to standard norm these days...
