Geek: When I came across The Saboteur on the show floor at San Diego Comic-Con, I was immediately surprised. Was this a third-person Wolfenstein? Was it a noir stealth game? Then one demo player got into a car and zoomed into the French countryside, pedestrians be damned. A World War II take on Grand Theft Auto, perhaps? Oh, wait, there's a cover system too. Gears of War, then?
It's all of the above. And amazingly, for a game with features so disparate, it beautifully pulls together all those elements to produce one of the best games of the show.
