At a San Diego Comic-Con panel, South Park Digital Studios' Creative Director Chris Brion revealed some of the names Microsoft nixed for the upcoming Let's Go Defense Tower Play XBLA game. Among those given a no were: "South Park Suck My Balls," "South Park Snowballing" and "South Park Barrow, Barrow, Suki,Suki." This wasn't the end of compromised. Gone too is the "Chasing the Dragon" Achievement and the original art for the "How to Eat with Your Butt" icon. A language filter also had to be added to bleep out potentially offensive words like [bleep] and [bleep]. Don't worry, the filter is turned off by default, ensuring that South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play will warp your fragile little mind.
Over the last 25 years, there has been a fair few South Park games, and here GameSpew has ranked them all from best to worst.
We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.
Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.
From karting to RPGs, there's been quite a few South Park games over the last 20 years. Here they all are, ranked from worst to best.
GamesAsylum looks back at the South Park games of yore, including South Park Rally, Chef's Luv Shack and the N64 original.
Since Microsoft is no stranger to sucking ;)
I AM JUST KIDDING! THAT WAS SARCASM!
I love my 360.
Why a language filter? It's South Park half the reason people watch it is to hear the next crazy thing Cartmans' going to say.
Ha Welfare Check power.
