Now they are setting their fitness sights on kids, and they are hoping Walk It Out's blend of exploration and rhythm-based activity will get kids off the couch and onto their feet. We stepped on the Wii Balance Board and went for a walk, and got a feel for the different things Konami is doing to get kids moving."
GamesRadar - Almost any premise can be the basis for an entertaining video game. Undesirable tasks like waiting tables or mopping up icky fluids are made strangely satisfying by Diner Dash and Viscera Cleanup Detail, respectively. Euro Truck Simulator 2, which might sound like prescription-grade sleep medication to some people, is consistently among the most-played games on Steam. No matter how peculiar the concept, clever game design can turn even the most ordinary real-world activity into virtual fun.
XMNR: Amazon announced their "Prelude to Black Friday" deal week yesterday with a preview of deals for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS running for the week of November 14. The deals start today but open with a bit of a yawner.
