I think it's going to rule and I actually like the way it looks. It's not the best out there but I don't think it's anywhere close to bad.

The Pop in is because the ODST activates his night-vision/aura-vision thingamajig and it highlights them and allows him to see in the dark.

I think it looks quite nice though and an improvement over Halo 3(but not a big one). Reach is apparently using a new engine though and Reach is a bigger project.

at least halo 3 had an ok story for a shooter this looks horrible...the story i mean.... graphics are ok nothing new at all.... the only thing good is the gameplay which isnt new either .... rent... maybe

Because it is the new FPS benchmark on consoles in graphics, gameplay and features. The only thing it doesn't beat Halo in is sales. Which is a good thing because it keeps Guerrilla striving as you can see with Bungie they've just given up and put the minimals in and cash the check.

Honestly though, I feel the same way about halo I feel about windows- they just keep repackaging the same software and releasing a new version every year.

Hopefully Halo:Reach will be Window7 quality.

The story, heart, and feel of the Halo franchise is what every FPS game should strive for. The good thing is that many franchises do currently match Halo, but you still have to root for the home team.

Yeah, I know that graphically Bungie is capable of doing better, so don't go there, but Halo is still a stunning series overall.

And did anyone else see the "remember reach" sprayed on the wall? lol!

Never been a fan of Halo, cause well, i never owned any xbox, lol...what has always caught my attention about it is that its a mix between the nitty gritty kind of games like KZ2 and the arcady types like warhawk for example, almost like COD4 but a bit more cartoony but the addicting gameplay...this along with Gears which i played on PC are the games that i've always wanted to play on the xbox, but money dont grow on trees
