GamerZines: Blur Hands-On Impressions

GamerZines: Though others around these parts have previously described Blur as Mario Kart meets Facebook, when sitting down with Bizarre's arcade racer for the first time, I was reminded far more of a four-wheeled WipEout than of any high speed activities involving Nintendo's plucky plumber.

There are a couple of reasons why. Firstly, Blur's tracks - though all realistic renditions of real-world locations - are (obviously) far more mean and moody than the brightly coloured environments of The Mushroom Kingdom. And secondly, Blur's weapon load-out feels as if it's been ripped straight out of Studio Liverpool's futuristic racer.
