This game is awesome and addictive. Although I see no reason why you shouldn't just buy it now. It's out on PC and MAC and runs on pretty much any computer and if you're cheap/have no soul and don't want to support indie developers then get a "free" copy.

I'm frantically clicking my mouse strategizing as fast as I could and could barely catch up. How will that work with a controller? Interesting, we'll just have to see I guess.

Very good addictive game. I beat every board/level except for a few levels on Survival(4 levels actually)I need to get "gold" for.

no it isn't, it was previously just mentioned that they might/would/could bring the game to "other" platforms, and that they were checking options.

At a meet yesterday at the GCC in Seattle PopCap told us it was coming to XBLA, the first mention and confirmation of a specific platform.

This game looks interesting. The Splosionman trial demo was awesome. Thinking about getting the full game. Loved The Maw. But then there are Trial HD, Monkey Island, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Shadow Complex, the South Park game, Ion Assault and so many others that it's hard to choose.

I'm not sure about that Kushan. I've beat the game a few times on the PC, and later levels require some fast clicking to collect Sunshine and coins.

My concern would be how they implement the fast switching between plant types (I assume using the bumpers), which should be OK I suppose. But whizzing the cursor around to pick stuff up may be a little clunky.

We shall see I guess. I'm sure they will do a good job.

Picking stuff up is the only "difficult" part. Selecting plants is easy ,just use a radial dial. You never have more than 10 to pick from anyway and there's nothing stopping them using TWO radial dials at 5 a piece (press LB for one, RB for another). The placing of the plants is super easy, the game uses a grid system that isn't that large, it's about 15x5 or something like that, which can easily be zipped around by just tapping the analogue stick.
To pick up sun, why not just have a larger "area" that the cursor can pick up from? So you've got a bigger radius under your pointer meaning you don't have to be too exact. It could also pick up multiple sun that is inside said radius.
Really, it wont be that hard.

For a console release, I was expecting this to go the Wii, not the 360. The low-res graphics and the controls seems better suited to the Wii. Playing this with a gamepad could be a little clumsy.

Not everyone wants to play games on their PC's. I and most of the younger gamers out their grew up on the N64 and PSone, and prefer to have a controller in their hands.

Id rather have this on my 360, and a lot of other people would agree.

XBL arcade pwns. I recently downloaded `splosion man. Absolutely amazing arcade game with minimal hype. That`s only one game from the summer of arcade. It honestly saddens me to see ps3 fanboys spewing their nonsense, they have no idea what they are missing out with xbl arcade. But hey, they will find out real quick once they download castle crashers.
