It's for the Wii by the way(just in case you didn't know). Sidescrolling beat-em-up as well. Looks good fun but it got a meh review from Famitsu.

I do like the fact that is it different from what most Dragon Ball games have become which are fighters. That said I can't wait for the DBZ DS game ;)

411mania: Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo Review

What it comes down to is this is a game that is rate E10+, which means that it is meant for a much younger audience. That being said the fact that 411 did actually enjoy playing the game speaks volumes for Namco Bandai accomplishing what they were after, a fun experience for younger gamers. Something that they feel they accomplished in spades.

Loot Ninja writes: "The Dragonball series has been out for quite some time and in its era has spawned countless games. None of them ever were critically acclaimed titles, but they always seemed to do the cartoon series justice by including most of the main characters and an art style that was consistent with the animation seen on the television show. I used to watch the cartoon series back in college, usually on a Sunday afternoon, hungover on the couch. It provided mindless entertainment with a slight sense of humor that was perfect as I tried to overcome numerous shots and games of beer pong from the night before.
