IGN UK writes: "Aion's gamely striving to reconcile two very different styles of MMO – character-led self-expression and tightly structured, statistic-constrained combat. While there is a certain hardcore vibe to it, there're two reasons it might pull this off. First up, there's the ability to imbue a lower-level item with the properties of a high-level one you've found. So, if you're especially fond of something awesome or stupid-looking (there's a carrot-like weapon, for instance - bagsie!), you don't have to ditch it because The Horned Dagger Of Ultimate Blood-Spilling is the only acceptable weapon for your level. This means, in turn, you won't end up with every top-level player looking exactly the bloody same 'cos they're all wearing identical armour".
Discover the immersive world of Aion in 2023, complete with deep crafting, aerial combat, and a unique flying system. Join one of two factions and explore the vast land of Atreia, where new challenges and updates await.
Would this be self promotion, I personally don't care but just wonder.
