Next WoW Expansion Adding Goblins and Worgens?

Halloween masks added to World of Warcraft's testing server in a recent patch reveal both male and female portraits for Goblins and Worgens. In the past, Halloween masks have allowed players to "dress up" as other races. If it were part of a much larger patch that would be one thing, but adding two seems to allude to the Goblins and Worgens being added as playable races in the next expansion."

So Worgens will probably be able to play as shamans, but that's just my guess. What classes would Goblins take up besides rogue?

If you play WoW the Worgen a pretty much the humanoid wolves, you can find some in Silverpine forest which is also the place where the new port City is rumored to be for the next expansion.

As for the goblins I say forget about it, they are just a neutral faction that are everywhere in WoW and they deserve some masks. If I where to put 100$ on the new race, Worgen are the easy bet imho.

Yes Goblins are neutral but weren't they allies to the horde in the earlier Warcraft games (besides W3)?

On that note, perhaps these are two new neutral classes? And does that mean...GASP! PANADARENS?!!?!

Sigh i've wanted to play as worgen and goblins (and ogres) for a long time , but it's a bit too late now (for me)

I will be damned if the day comes when a gnome fights for the horde! Anyways, I always felt as though the goblins leaned towards the side of the horde (at least engineering wise). Meh... having said that, I kinda doubt that these are the next two available races, though I wouldn't be surprised if Worgens did end up being playable (It'd be pretty cool too)

What about all those Gnomes you see working with Orcs and such in all those cults running around? As long as the Gnome is angry enough about being oppressed, I don't see why he can't join the Horde.

so them finding Halloween masks which are usually reserved for playable races in the new patch cant even be seen as possible sign? And considering the lore and that there is a zone that has been locked up since launch in silver pine forest full of Worgen could not lead people to believe that maybe this could be?

Considering Blizzard have stated they aren't planning to launch another expansion for at least another year, adding masks for new playable races now would be kind of stupid on their part. And say what you will, but I wouldn't describe Blizzard as stupid.

Having said that, I could see the possibility of having Worgen as a playable race, but not Goblin. I'm sure we'll see a lot of new masks for this years Halloween, and they won't be indicative of any new races for an expansion that is still a long way off.

fair enough, I'm just saying that it could fit the rumor mold imho. For example the battle bots where found out months before mountain dew announced any plans for the campaign. They will be announcing the new expansion a good while before the launch and as you said, Blizzard said for at least another year. and I am willing to bet top dollar that Gilneas in Silverpine has something to do with it and it is surrounded by Worgen.
