"...But to return sex to the level of prominence that it previously enjoyed, our games need to incorporate sex to a much more immersive degree. And I don't mean by providing little bump-n-grind minigames like the Hot Coffee thing, and the Quick Time Event found in God of War. What's going to make the most difference is sophistication and subtlety. Rather than making sex the subject of the game, we'll need to start with a narrative context -- have the characters discuss sex openly, but almost as an aside. The idea is to display to the player a fully-realized world, where the characters have desires outside of the immediate threats."
